'No Country for Old Men'

'No Country for Old Men' is a 2007 American thriller. The film tells a story of an ordinary man whom chance delivers a fortune that is not his, and the ensuing cat-and-mouse drama, as three men crisscross each other's paths in the desert island landscape of 1980 West Texas.
This film was written and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, known together professionally as the Coen brothers, whom are American film makers. 
The brothers graduated from St. Louis Park High School in 1973 and 1976.  Joel then spent four years in the undergraduate film program at New York University whereas Ethan went on to Princeton University and earned an undergraduate degree in philosophy in 1979. Finally, in 1984, the brothers wrote and directed Blood Simple, their first film together.
The film 'No Country for Old Men' received many awards including; Best picture, Best director, Best screenplay and Best supporting actor. Not only this but the film was also nominated in 4 other categories as well.
